What makes Santino's Pizza so GREAT?
There are a lot of pizza places out there that claim "dough made fresh daily." So what? Great tasting dough requires time to develop a robust flavor. Just like a good beer or a great wine, time is needed so the yeast can ferment and impart character to the dough. It's a symphony of delicate interaction between yeast and flour that makes a great tasting crust. Other pizza places can use inferior flour. We only use premium high protein flour. And we age our dough (called proofing) under slow and controlled conditions so it can develop that wonderful complex flavor that makes it taste so fantastic. And who else still hand stretches EVERY pizza? The other guys make their pizzas in a conveyor oven; not unlike an auto assembly line. Our pizzas are baked on a stone deck oven at temperatures greater than 600F. This combination brings out the best in our dough by giving you that crust with a little crunch and a light and airy inside. We've sourced the very best cheese we could find, premium Wisconsin whole milk mozzarella. And our house-made pizza sauce is slow cooked to retain the wonderful blend of flavors of fresh herbs, tomatoes, and spices. We know you're going to love our pizzas.

Really fresh tasting. Very unique menu choices. We had the Calypso pizza and loved it. My wife loved the crust. A nice crisp chewiness. Don't be fooled by the fact that it looks like a part of the strip mall and theater. It tastes a lot better than the outside store looks. The customer service is great too. Real friendly people.

We ordered takeout and I told them what time I would be there to pick it up. This place has no parking so I parked curbside in the 3 min. unloading. They had the pizzas ready so it only took 3 min. We had the Semper Pie and the Spicy Chicken., Both were loaded and very tasty. The staff was friendly. I wish they had a creative pizza place like this in Huntsville.
